Vanessa Lynch | Dental Hygienist
Vanessa Lynch was born and raised in Taylor. She is married to Brendon and they have three amazing children, Houston, Preslee and Colin. She is a 2003 graduate from the Temple College Dental Hygiene program and has an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Vanessa enjoys providing professional, gentle and thorough care to all her patients and has experience in pediatric and adult patients. She looks forward to working in her wonderful home town. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her children and family, cooking and shopping.
Laura Harbour | Dental Hygienist
Laura was born in Texas, but spent her childhood and college years in Illinois and Kentucky before finding her way back to Texas in 2018. She and her husband, Justin, own a little piece of land near Granger where they grow hay and keep horses. Laura has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky, as well as her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Laura is passionate about dental hygiene, and her goal is to provide thorough, compassionate patient care. She really enjoys getting to know patients of all ages and walks of life and helping them to learn more about their oral health. She is happy to be part of the team at Mallard Creek Dental. Besides tending the horses and working around their ranch, Laura and her husband both like to travel and are avid autocrossers, a form of amateur car racing, which takes them to various events across the country to compete.
Dawn Mudd | Dental Assistant
Dawn was born in Luling, Texas, but has lived most of her life in Milano, Texas. She is the proud mother of two adult children Derek and Caitlin. She attended Austin Dental Career and has been a Dental Assistant since December 1996. Dawn has established a reputation as a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant while making every visit comfortable for the patient. She has touched many lives with her genuine care, positive attitude, gentleness, empathy, politeness and warmth. In her spare time, Dawn likes to garden, make beaded jewelry and snuggle her cats.
Tammy Campos | Dental Assistant
Tammy was born and raised in South Texas and moved to Central Texas in 2003 with her husband Carlos. They have 3 children Victoria, Britnie, Asael and 1 granddaughter Payton. Tammy has been a dental assistant since 1998 and enjoys working with patients of all ages . In her free time, Tammy likes spending time with her family, kayaking and just relaxing at her home in the country.
Barbara Talavera | Office Manager
Barbara is a native “Taylorite”. She has lived in Taylor, Texas all her life. She attended Temple Junior College and ITT. She is certified in office administration. Barbara has been married for 27 years and is the mother of four children – Zach, Taylor, Zane and Gray. Her husband is a teacher and coach at Taylor ISD and is a Major in the Army National Guard. In her free time, Barbara enjoys gardening, cooking and repurposing old things.
Renee Boles | Front Office Receptionist
Renee Boles is a graduate of Taylor High School and holds a Business Management Degree from Texas State University. She was a self-employed family childcare provider for 17 years. Renee joined the staff at Mallard Creek Dental in 2014 and loves the patients as though they were her own family. She has been married to her husband, Jarrell, for over 30 years. They have three wonderful children Jake (and his wife Tiffany), Abby, and Trey. She was born and raised in Taylor and returned home over 20 years ago to raise her kids and take care of her parents. She enjoys watching sports, especially UT, watching movies, and cooking. She feels blessed to be a part of the Mallard Creek Family.
